Queen Emma Summer Palace, or Hanaiakamalama, was the summer retreat for Queen Emma of Hawaii during 1857-1885. Queen Emma Summer Palace is a now a historic landmark (added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1972), museum, and tourist site preserved by the Daughters of Hawai‘i.

Located less than ten minutes from downtown Honolulu, the museum is open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Admission fees and money from the gift shop goes to the preservation of this prominent landmark.
