Malaekahana State Recreation Area

Malaekahana State Recreation Area is a great place for families to enjoy the beach and water activities. Most of the time, the currents are calm (outside of winter) enough to swim and bodyboard in the ocean.

Camping sites are available (permit required), as are other forms of lodging, such as plantation style housing.
